All About Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold
 Who were Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold? Why did they do what they did? Together these two young men were brought to the world's attention when they laid siege to Columbine High School the morning of April 20, 1999. Before that day they were just a couple of high school seniors only two weeks away from graduation... or so those who they knew them believed. For well over a year before the shooting the boys had been coming up with plans to blow up their school. According to what they said in the hateful writings and videos they left behind, they wanted to take revenge on the people they accused of picking on them and snubbing them.
We may never know answers to all of the questions left in the wake of the tragedy but this site has gathered together a collection of documents, reports, photos, videos, and other information about the shooters that will hopefully help to shed some light on what happened before, during, and after the grim events of one of the world's worst school shootings.
The links below lead to detailed information about each of the Columbine shooters. The information provided is primarily taken from the Columbine Report and other official documents and interviews that Jefferson County has released over the years since the shootings.
As an aside: Many people have asked me about the pictures of Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold dead in the library. Yes, I've seen the images and no, they're not hosted at this website. If you'd like to know my reasons you can feel free to email me about it. If you want to find the pictures, search Google Images for 'Eric and Dylan dead in the library' and you'll find lots of copies. They are also available on the CD-ROM version of this website but will never appear on the actual site.
