Letter of support to Harris family
Eric Harris and his family lived at 8276 S. Reed Street in Littleton, Colorado, 80120 at the time of the shootings. Wayne and Kathy purchased the 1,934 square foot home for $180,000 in 1996. It has four bedrooms and four baths. Eric's bedroom was in the basement. There is also a family room and bathroom down there. It is worth roughly $650,000 at the time of this writing. The house was just a few minutes from the school (see map).

The Harrises have long since moved away. They put the house up for sale in 2004, asking $269,900 for it. The real estate who worked with them was Jay Holliday, the father of student Jessica Holliday, who was in the library during the shootings. Both Randy Brown, father of Brooks Brown, and Rich Petrone, Daniel Rohrbough's stepfather, tried to see inside the house during the showing, but were not allowed. You can see a more in-depth description of the house in Columbine : A True Crime Story by Jeff Kass, a former Rocky Mountain News reporter who was allowed a walk-through.

Their current place of residence is unknown. You can see pictures below of the Harris home as it looked shortly following the Columbine massacre.
