Gunfire in the Halls
Below is a comprehensive timeline of the events of 4-20-99, compiled over the years from various police and news reports. It's not complete; there's so much information (and misinformation) out there about this event, it's difficult to string everything together in an orderly fashion. This section is meant to be read in tandem with more detailed information provided in the Injured and Deceased sections. Where ever a victim's name appears linked, you can click on it to get more details about that particular person's experiences during the shooting.
Where possible I've linked the resources the information is pulled from, along with video and sound clips from police radio dispatch, 911 calls made from inside the school, photos, reports, and more. Many are links to off-site resources (such as video files too large to host here) and may break without warning. The bulk of the rest of the unlinked content comes from the pages of the Columbine Report.
Some of the photos shown and linked below come from news media, others from neighbors who live(d) next to the school, taken through their windows and from their roofs. Some are photos contributed by visitors to Littleton.
